The Regular Season in NBL just ended. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

We should mention about the upset which took place in Palmerston North, where higher ranked Jets (9-11) lost at home to eleventh ranked Nuggets (3-17) 95-101 on Sunday. Nuggets looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Jaylen Sebree (201-1997, college: Tenn Tech) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. The former international Jonathan Janssen (205-1995, college: HPU) chipped in 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Quinton Rose (203-1998, college: Temple) produced 25 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for lost side. Nuggets maintains eleventh place with 3-17 record. Jets lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Bulls and Whai.

Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Buay Tuach (198-1995, college: LMU, agency: Haylett Sports) who helped to win the game recording 29 points (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). Luther Muhammad contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Campbell Scott (187-2004) answered with 19 points for Hawks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tuatara moved-up to fifth place. Hawks lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 13 games lost.

In the last two games of round 25 Nuggets were defeated by Airs in New Plymouth 93-83. Rams beat Bulls at home 107-91.
The best stats of 25th round was 23 points by Kaia Isaac of Rams.



Airs - Nuggets 93-83

There was no surprise in New Plymouth where 11th ranked Nuggets (3-17) were defeated by fourth ranked Airs (12-8) 93-83. Airs players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Nuggets' players. Worth to mention a great performance of Carlin Davison (197-2003) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Australian-German forward Craig Moller (203-1994) contributed with 24 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Airs players scored in double figures. American forward Jaylen Sebree (201-1997, college: Tenn Tech) answered with 24 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Jonathan Janssen (205-1995, college: HPU) added 19 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Nuggets. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Airs moved-up to third place, which they share with Sharks. Nuggets lost fifteenth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 17 games lost.

Rams - Bulls 107-91

No shocking result in a game in Christchurch where second ranked Rams (15-5) defeated 7th ranked Bulls (9-11) 107-91. Rams dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Bulls' 22 and made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Rams players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a very good performance for Australian guard Sean Macdonald (188-2000) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 assists. International guard Kaia Isaac (185-2003) contributed with 23 points for the winners. International guard Flynn Cameron (196-2000, college: UC Riverside) answered with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international guard Tobias Cameron (196-1999, college: ACU) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Bulls. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains second place with 15-5 record behind leader Saints. Bulls at the other side dropped to the sixth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Jets and Whai.
